Inspiring Offices Around The World

Where you work is very important, to every human being. It needs to be a place where you can draw inspiration from, where you get energy from as well as get relaxed, in short: where you can be simply happy to work. As I want to build Zenjoy into a company that make both employees and customers happy, here are some pictures of offices that inspire me everyday to go forward with my entrepreneurial plans and take action.

The New 37Signals Office

37Signals recently moved into their new offices in Chicago. The chief architect was Brad Lynch from Brininstool, Kerwin and Lynch. It’s a perfect example of how a clean uncluttered working environment helps people to be creative every single day.

Selgas Cano Architecture

The Selgas Cano Architecture office, designed by Iwan Baan, makes you into its surrounding nature. Beautifully huge windows, turn this place into a really peaceful environment that stimulates creativity.

White Mountain Office

This underground office hidden from the outer world into a cave in Sweden is nowadays known for hosting Wikileaks. But besides that, if you’re not claustrophobic, it’s really a pretty cool place to work!

Facebook

500+ Million people in the world use Facebook, many more knowFacebook, but a lot less people know their beautiful office. It’s certainly a place where I could be inspired to give the best of myself to build great and creative products!

TBWA Hakuhodo

TBWA Hakuhodo is a Japanese advertising company, working in this awesome office designed by Klein Dytham Architecture. This office brings the outside in by blending plenty of nature inspired elements such as grass and trees with everyday office furniture.

Google Zurich

The Google offices are know for being build around fun. The Zurich office is another perfect example of that philosophy. You’ve probably seen this a lot on other website, but it’s still worth having another look:

The Pixar Offices

I want to finish with another office that is all around fun at work: Pixar. When you see their offices, you fully understand the correlation between building a place where people are happy to work and enabling people to get creative and come up with brilliant ideas day in, day out!

Cool designs, bro. You gotta be the luckiest guy in the world if you manage to work in there.

You can’t even tell if those are offices or not unless someone says so, due to the feel it brings to all of us. The lighthearted approach they’ve done in designing their place showed us that it totally affects the outcome of their work in a good way.

Let’s face it, our office is our second home, so to make our work more inspirational and more enjoyable. Designing it is one of the best ways to do it. I have to admit, I was impressed with the designs of these offices, and I like Google Zurich’s because of the slide.

Wow! I like White Mountain’s Office. Somehow, it gives off a feeling that they’re working on something amazing down there. And it also looks like an office from some super hero movie.

      Indeed, it totally is!
